For example, Kaki Birtel wanted a web site to show off her paintings while keeping within her theme of being an “Artist in Motion”. Her site utilizes several Internet technologies to portray that motion. From her home page, which displays one of her paintings changing colors in concert with her tag line, to a secondary page which displays all of her paintings in a revolving carousel that the web viewer can control.

Chalmette Refining, a joint venture between ExxonMobil and PDVSA, the Venezuelan State Oil company, they wanted a simple web site for local residents to be able to download their latest community newsletter and to also submit questions and comments. The one page site mimics the look of the community newsletter while providing email and database technologies in the background.
